The sink is very heavy, so installation was tough and took us 3-4 hours total, and lots of yelling. But we are very happy with our sink. We've had it for 2 years now and had no problems. No stains since it's black. It doesn't scratch. We will occasionally get a little hard water deposit, but that cleans up with barkeepers friend and a scotchbrite pad (and other reviews recommend Lime-Away for really bad deposits). It's so big our baby bathtub fits all the way down in it. It's nicely designed with a good slope so that all the water runs out and it dries completely overnight. We have it mounted drop-in over mountain green granite tiles (the 24x24 countertop system from The Tile Shop - cost $1000 instead of $7000 for slab and looks almost the same) and the anthracite color looks great with it. The sink color and finish is matte, and looks basically the same as the grates on the top of our stove. We are extremely happy with the sink, and love how we don't get stains or scratches, like all our previous white and stainless sinks.
